I am a writer. Took me 31 years of my life to discover that, but hey, better late than never right? My influences come from everything around me, books, film, people I meet, thoughts I have & emotions I experience. I started writing a novel and have several published articles on cross-cultural issues. Poetry & short stories are currently my main writing interests.

Poetry: My first self-published book of poetry, “A Poet’s Oud” was released in January 2007. My second book, “I Often Wonder” is due out in 2008, Inshallah.

Short Stories: Short stories are not unlike poetry. I am currently working on my first collection of short stories, which is called ‘A Melon Shaped Dream” due out in Spring 2008 inshallah.
